Albertson’s Announces Grand Opening of Mandeville, LA Store

Fort Worth, TX – Albertson’s LLC’s Dallas-Fort Worth division today announced grand opening details for the new Albertsons store in Mandeville, Louisiana. Located at 3450 Highway 190 in Mandeville, the store hosted a special shopping event from 5:00 PM to 8 PM on September 1, where 10% of the opening night’s sales proceeds benefited the St. Tammany Humane Society. The store’s official grand opening will be September 2 at 6 AM.

“We are excited this day is here, to be opening a new full-service food and drug store in southern Louisiana,” said William Emmons, president of the Dallas-Fort Worth Division of Albertsons LLC. “We’re proud to have such an exceptional offering at our new store. Mandeville customers will experience unparalleled customer service from our associates, and the store has a fantastic management team, with over 150 years of grocery management among them. We have one of the finest Albertsons Bakery departments in the area with a wide variety of gourmet cakes in addition to Albertsons Famous French Bread, along with some fantastic “Fresh-to-Go” options at our Salad and Soup Bar, our Sandwich Bar, and in our Sushi selection. We’re also thrilled to partner with CC’s Community Coffee House in Mandeville.”

The store also features a full butcher block that cuts fresh, quality meats every day in store. Local, fresh seafood is also featured in the Seafood department, and the store’s Service Deli offers Albertsons famous Fried and Rotisserie Chickens, along with great side dishes to go with any meal.  An extensive wine, spirits, and beer department is also in-store, and customers will also enjoy the convenience of FTD floral service in addition to the selection in the floral department.

Customers can attend a special preview on September 1, beginning at 5:00 PM and concluding at 8:00 PM.  10% of gross sales that evening will be donated to the St. Tammany Humane Society and participants in Albertsons Community Partners program.  For the week following, until September 8th, customers who spend $25.00 or more in qualified purchases can also enter to win one of seven 32” HD LCD TVs being given away in an in-store sweepstakes.
