The Community Partners Program is a way to reward organizations in the community for shopping at Albertsons.  Organization supporters use a key tag when shopping at Albertsons to earn credit for the Organization. Below are some frequently asked questions about the program. .

Existing Organizations Q/A

How much can my Organization Earn?

Each Organization can earn up to $6000 a quarter or $24,000 a year
  • 1% back on the organizations sales per quarter
  • 5% back on sales over $50,000 per quarter
  • If a school spends $60,000 in a quarter they will earn the following:

$50,000 x 1% = $500 + 
$10,000 x 5% = $500 = $1,000 total contribution

What Organizations are eligible to Participate?
All non-profits are eligible to participate.  While we prefer that schools and youth organizations take advantage of this opportunity the community partners program is now available to pet organizations, environmental groups, and Habitat for Humanity just to name a few.

Getting the Organization Signed Up:
Find out if the Organization is signed up, if the Organization is not signed up for Community Partners, follow the steps below to get the Organization signed up.

How to find out if an Organization is signed up for Community Partners?
Contact Universal Promotions at 1-800-696-6419 and they can check the status of an organization.

 
For Organizations that are not signed up for Community Partners –

    To sign up for Community Partners, an Organization can –
    1. Fax a completed Community Partners sign up form to 1-800-242-7041
    2. Mail a completed Community Partners sign up form to:
      Community Partners Headquarters, P.O. Box 193, Bethel Park, PA 15102-0193
    3. Contact Universal Promotions at 1-800-696-6419

    There is no charge for the cards and they will enable their supporters to earn funds for their organization every time they shop at Albertsons and scan their Community Partners Card.



Existing Organizations Q/A

The Organization is signed up with Community Partners, but needs new cards, who do they contact?

1-800-696-6419.  Allow 60-90 Days for cards to be delivered to the organization coordinator.

What if a customer would like to participate prior to receiving their cards?

Who does a customer contact if they are interested in supporting an Organization –

Customers’ interested in participating in Community Partners should contact the participating organization program coordinator (i.e. Principal, PTA President) they wish to support to obtain a Community Partner Card.

What does a customer do if they would like to support more than one organization?

Customers who would like to support more than one Organization may do so by obtaining a card for each Organization and alternating them between shopping visits.

Can an Organization hand out cards at the local Albertsons store?

No, the program is intended for members directly involved with the organization

How Does An Organization Get Their Money?

Albertsons will mail checks four times a year in October, December, March, and July directly to the organization.  We do not issue checks for less than $10, we roll the amount over to the next quarter.
